Yun-An is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in psychology, working primarily with music and sound. With a deep interest in Asian traditions and Eastern philosophy, Yun-An has traveled extensively across Asia, using field recording as a method of cultural observation. Yun-An's practice integrates music, text, photography, and video into cross-media performances and installations.
In recent years, Yun-An has been guiding communities across Taiwan to cultivate inner awareness through listening—developing transformative practices for contemporary bodies and minds. Since 2020, this ongoing exploration has evolved into Listening Pilgrim™ series, encompassing site-specific performances and participatory workshops.
